Geigenbau offers a rental service for customers throughout Switzerland and
even abroad, with violins, violas, cellos and double basses of all sizes,
for players of all levels. The monthly fee shown below covers rental of
the instrument, bow and case/ cover, plus rosin. Shoulder rests, due to
their wide variety, are sold separately.
The outfits are professionally set up in our workshops to the highest
standard and are delivered to the customer in top condition. All rental
instruments are good quality, and are mainly European.
We recommend that beginners take advantage of the rental scheme, and then
buy an instrument when confident that they wish to continue playing. In
this way, the rental scheme offers an inexpensive and convenient
alternative to an immediate purchase, and
the rental expenses will be taken into account in the event of a
subsequent purchase (70-100%, see below). |

Unbeatable
rental conditions:
In
case you decide to purchase the rented instrument within one year, 100% of the
paid rent will be taken into account; if you buy the instrument at a later
point, 70% of the paid rent will be taken into account. You can even buy a
different instrument to the one you have rented. However, only a maximum of 50%
of the price of the chosen instrument can be taken off the total, even if the
rental amount is greater than this figure.
In
principle, all instruments of our selection can be rented.
